Furthermore, as a complement to its commercial offering, Expoquimia will offer a program of activities with conferences, workshops, and networking opportunities designed to learn from experience and foster collaboration among professionals. The Industry Showcase stands out, with sessions that will allow attendees to learn about success stories explained by user industries related to the energy transition, sustainable water resource management, innovation in materials and ingredients for a circular economy, and digital transformation.

As a new development, Expoquimia will host Engineers Day, a day dedicated to highlighting the role of engineering professionals in the chemical sector and industrial processes. It will also launch an International Program designed for visitors from other countries attending the fair, with business meetings with exhibitors, as well as workshops on best practices in the application of solutions provided by exhibitors and business opportunities in selected markets.

At the same time, Expoquimia will be the epicenter of important chemical sector events, such as Smart Chemistry, Smart Future, a debate forum promoted by FEIQUE that this year will focus on the Green Industry Deal. Chemical innovation is essential in the development of technological solutions and processes for decarbonization, but it is also a fundamental pillar for the industry's competitiveness, contributing to achieving the goals set in the European Green Deal and strengthening strategic autonomy.

Coincidence with Equiplast

In 2026, Expoquimia will take place simultaneously with Equiplast, the International Plastics and Rubber Fair, which will showcase innovative and sustainable solutions to reduce the environmental impact of plastics within the framework of the circular economy. This joint event, which will bring together more than 800 exhibiting companies and nearly 21,000 professional visitors, will once again create a powerful trade fair platform that will strengthen synergies between the chemical and plastics industries.

Equiplast26's Rethinking Plastic is the leading innovation platform for the plastics industry. This space is where companies and industry professionals share innovative solutions and join forces to achieve an increasingly sustainable industry.

This new evolution of Rethinking Plastic will focus on two areas:
